Learning Tracks - General Information

The learning tracks are produced by me at home using GarageBand and iTunes. They are in mp3 format which should play on all computers and CD players, but I can convert to other formats if you should need that (Contact Me).

In creating this web site, I'm playing "catch-up" making the learning tracks, and I'm publishing the web site without having them for each arrangement. If you would like learning tracks for an arrangement that doesn't yet have one, just contact me and I'll do that song next - it'll just take a couple of days. Thank you!

The learning tracks downloads/order forms are found in the Shopping Cart. A Sneak Peek of one page of the arrangement and a Sample Audio of the arrangement are on the individual song page.

I hope you'll enjoy listening to Sample Audios of my arrangements and that you'll be inspired to sing some of them. I decided to make learning tracks to be available for singers of my arrangements who do not yet read music. Hopefully the learning tracks will help each part with notes, only being limited by the shortcomings of my voice! They will also give you a starting point for interpretation.

I take pitch on the learning tracks in one of two ways: I either sing "do" and then go to the first note of the song in each part, or I sing the tonic chord from the bottom up.

Each learning track has the following:

Track 1: 4 parts in balance
Tracks 2 and 3: Lead predominant and missing
Tracks 4 and 5: Bass predominant and missing
Tracks 6 and 7: Tenor predominant and missing
Tracks 8 and 9: Bari predominant and missing

The learning tracks can either be downloaded from the web site or, perhaps if you're having trouble downloading because of your browser speed or on especially long songs, sent on CD via snail mail. If you want a CD, all 13 tracks can be put on one CD, or you can have 4 CDs - one for each section.
